Bidor Kwong Cheng started as a cottage Industry with a very small production capacity. Due to the fact that soy sauce and fermented been paste require brewing period in terms of months and there was only Black Beans Paste which require long brewing period at that time, Mr Lee-Chong Ho, in view of his limited capacity, created a product now known as Yellow Bean Paste which require much shorter brewing time so that he could turnover his limited capacity more times per year. Now, the local style Yellow Bean Paste is an essential sauce used commonly in Malaysia
